Work Package 2 : Value-Driven Skills Framework for Sustainable Marketing in e-Commerce for Agri-food Actors
This report presents the key findings of Activity A2.2 – Conducting Skills Needs Analysis, drawing on evidence from focus groups, producer surveys, follow-up interviews, and consumer data analysis.
The report identifies the priority skills and broader capability areas needed for sustainable marketing in agri-food e-commerce. It links the needs analysis to the next stage of ECO-merce by providing a competence-based foundation for later learning and training outputs.
This validation report presents the review of the ECO-merce Competence List developed within WP2 - Value-Driven Skills Framework for Sustainable Marketing in e Commerce for Agri-food Actors.
This report provides a comprehensive summary of the processes and tools used to identify ECO-merce Consumer Persona and Value Map. Overall, five consumer personas were identified, showing that sustainability priorities vary widely across consumers. These profiles led to the creation of a Cards Set of Consumer Persona which can be used by educators and trainers operating in the agri-food sectors.
The ECO-merce framework, presented in this report, will guide the sustainable marketing training needed to enable agri-food producers to guide consumers towards sustainable products in the competitive e-commerce landscape.
The key elements identified from the analysis contributed to define five consumer personas. The demographic data and consumer persona definitions have been used to create the ECO-merce Consumer Persona Cards Set, providing educators, trainers and agri-food actors with practical tools to understand what consumers value and why they buy.
