About us
ECO-merce is a European Erasmus+ project designed to support the transition of the agri-food sector towards a more sustainable and digital future. The project focuses on helping agri-food producers and SMEs integrate sustainable marketing practices into e-commerce, responding to the growing demand for transparency, ethical production, and environmentally responsible consumption.
By combining sustainability principles with digital innovation, ECO-merce bridges the gap between what consumers expect and what businesses are currently able to deliver online. The project brings together universities, training organisations, industry representatives, and agri-food experts from across Europe to co-create practical tools, training programmes, and strategic frameworks.
ECO-merce ultimately aims to empower agri-food actors to transform sustainability into a real competitive advantage, while contributing to more responsible food systems and informed consumer choices.

Our objective
The ECO-merce project pursues a clear ambition: to equip agri-food actors with the skills, tools, and strategies needed to succeed in a sustainable digital marketplace.
Its main objectives are to:
